I’ve spent over a decade helping bold entrepreneurs ditch the branding guesswork and build businesses that actually fit—all while living life on the road, chasing freedom, and designing from anywhere.
Live Large Design has industry experience in providing alluring and professional designs for the highly competitive and lucrative craft beer market.
We supported the Wasilla-owned brewery, Bearpaw River Brewing Company (BRBC), with a rebrand and the development of over a dozen design collateral items.
The effectiveness of the brand redesign was due to the comprehensive brand guidelines document we created for the brewery outlining the visual brand.
This multi-page document provides guidance on how to apply the brand standards to any design deliverable well into the future. Everything from the taproom design, merchandise, and online presence were all designed using this brand strategy for consistency.

After a solid brand foundation was developed, we delved into a variety of product design. This is often the really fun part of a project since all the research and intention of the branding gets to come alive in numerous design pieces. We created secondary graphics to diversify the brand, and then moved into designing bottles, growlers, hats, shirts, stickers, and much more.
We also created mockups and visuals of all the products to be used on the brewery's Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for their taproom.
With the visuals created, BRBC was able to successfully raise over $36,000 through crowd-funding outreach to support the development of their taproom.
This project was a testament to the power of a solid brand foundation and well-developed visuals. This rebrand helped align beer drinkers with the expertise and individuality that the Bearpaw River Brewing Company offers.
Over seven years later, BRBC still uses the brand that Live Large Design created for them and they have been able to build a valuable brand presence through their consistent visual presence.
