When we wanted to redo our logo we hadn’t put too much thought into the rest of what would come along with this process. Live Large Design walked us through a process that helped us define our business more clearly. Previously we rambled when we explained who we were and why we were different. After this process, we now have a defined brand guidelines document with the exact words, fonts, and colors which flows into every single thing we do! This has made us not just a successful company, but we are a sought after brand…us…a yarn shop!

After having the logo redesigned, along with additional graphics, colors and fonts, we decided to not just slowly implement these changes but to build excitement around the rebrand. This allowed us to have a big launch party and bring in a lot of revenue that would offset the initial design expenses. We blacked out our windows and made everyone wait with anticipation for our re-opening. We emptied the store, painted the floors, ceiling and walls with colors that connected with our new brand and got a custom outdoor sign for our store front. We did a ribbon cutting with a gift giveaway to the first 100 people who arrived. The gift was a bag with our new bee graphic incorporated. People arrived chanting “let us in” and they all poured in when we cut the ribbon.

Beyond this profitable party, we’ve solidified a clear consistent brand. We have implemented the rebrand into our website, the emotion/feeling we portray on Instagram, the printed materials we include in each of our packages we ship to customers, and to the experience the customers feel walking in our doors. Taking the time to define who we are with so much detail, has helped us connect with the right brands for our story and align with the right target audience. It’s allowed us to explain our passion so much clearer and that has created a frenzy with our customers.
